Blessed Ksenia of St. Petersburg
Saint Ksenia of St. Petersburg (c. 1730–1803) is one of the most beloved Russian Orthodox saints, venerated for her remarkable life of voluntary poverty, prayer, and selfless love.
After the sudden death of her husband, she gave away all her possessions and wandered St. Petersburg for 45 years, dressed in his military uniform, praying for others and performing acts of hidden charity. She was glorified as a saint in 1988.
